Sustainability has always been an integral part of IPT’s corporate culture, which reflects on the quality of its products & services. We continuously invest in our business to provide our customers with renewable and highly energy-efficient solutions that meet the highest standards of modern and environment-friendly gas stations. In line with this strategy, we built in Amchit in 2019 the Sustainable Gas Station, the first of its kind in Lebanon and the region.
Always a step ahead, we have recently seen a similar concept executed in Dubai last year. “ENOC Group”, the Emirates National Oil Company, recently unveiled the "ENOC Service Station of the Future", an innovative design in the form of its national tree, the ghaf, located at the Expo 2020 site.
The showcased characteristics of the station can also be found at "IPT's Sustainable Station" built two years ago. Some of the features include:
• A Dynamic shaped solar photovoltaic system
• EV Charging station
• Water saving system
• Gasoline vapor recovery
• Fuel pump monitoring system
• Tank gauging
"IPT's Sustainable Station" proposes additional features such as automatic car wash, wastewater treatment solutions to achieve ZERO toxic discharge in sewer network, water conservation solutions to reduce water consumption, a green roof to lower energy consumption, meaning fewer greenhouse gas emissions and advanced safety measures. It seems the only noticeable differences are mainly the architecture of the canopy and a carbon fiber body.
