IPT genuinely cares about CSR and sustainability, and fully understands the energy and environmental challenges of today’s rapidly changing world. We see ourselves as a corporate citizen that needs to play a central role in leaving a positive impact on Lebanon, its people, and the environment. Given the nature of our business, we want our work to be meaningful long into the future.
This is why our CSR efforts are centered on the challenges, difficulties, and concerns closely related to the energy and oil and gas sector. Also being socially active is one of our main goals. We strive to give back to the community through supporting social initiatives and local development.
Our CSR Strategy is clearly represented in our best business practices, our contribution to energy sustainability and environmental protection through our specialized research center IPT Energy Center (IPTEC) that has accomplished since 2012 many projects in the fields of energy efficiency and sustainability that has captured the interest of local and international authorities.
The CSR Strategy is also represented in community enrichment programs and contribution to local development through Michel Issa Foundation for Local Development (MIF) that has since 2012 succeeded in strengthening the capacities of the local community and motivated people to stay in their hometowns by supporting and implementing local development projects.
