Based on the annual safety training plan and in its continuous efforts to maintain the high standards of Health and Safety in its operations, IPT organized for its employees the Firefighting, Evacuation and First Aid Training sessions at IPT Headquarters in Amchit, dividing them into small groups to respect social distancing during the pandemic.
The training was performed by the Safety team and QHSE Department (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment) in coordination with the civil Defense following 5 main objectives:
• Create a safety mental health awareness to be applied not only in the work environment but also in everyone’s daily life.
• Protect employees as a first step as well as company's assets and premises.
• Take action according to the ERP (Emergency response plan) following the master safety hazards yearly plan.
• Follow a continuous training empowered by theoretical and practical maneuvers based on the safety yearly plan.
• Initiate an Emergency response team selected from all departments / by floors.
Thru its continuous safety awareness training, IPT always seeks to ensure safety and healthy environment for its employees and visitors in all of its operations, terminals, stations, and headquarters.
