IPT was established in Lebanon in 1990. It specializes in the import, storage, sales and distribution of petroleum products. Throughout the years, IPT grew  to become one of the leading Lebanese petroleum companies, and was successfully certified with ISO 9001:2015.

ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard dedicated to Quality Management Systems (QMS). It outlines a framework for improving quality and a vocabulary of understanding for any organization looking to provide products and services that consistently meet standard’s requirements, customers’ satisfaction, stakeholders’ interests that support the continual improvement and organizational efficiency.

Our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policy is to actively contribute to the performance, sustainability, protection of employees' health and safety, as well as the environment based on principles of ongoing improvement and development.

Improvement Challenges Despite the Lebanese economic crises, the catastrophic inflation of the national currency and the collapse of the national economy, IPT still faces the challenges and difficulties by adopting a continuous improvement (CI) methodologies built on her solid pillars of commitment, strategy, processes, performance and QHSE international standard, to improve customer satisfaction, reduce operating cost and achieve its vision and mission.
Continuous Improvement IPT Crisis Team's continuous role in managing COVID-19 issues remains effective by taking all necessary health and safety measures.
IPT continuously provides safety training and maneuvers to its employees in HQ & facilities, in compliance with its ERP, Hazards Master Plan and international safety standards.
ISO 9001:2015 Upgrade

In preparation for ISO upgrade, the Quality department organized a workshop entitled “Steps for the Transition to ISO 9001:2015 the Successful Way” addressed to the heads of departments and selected Quality representatives. IPT got ISO 9001:2015 upgrade and successfully re-certified in 23 September 2018 by Bureau Veritas-UKAS.

Fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the group by encouraging its workforce actively involved in, responsible for, and committed to the development, implementation and optimization of the processes to ensure the alignment of IPT vision and mission.

ISO 9001:2008 Certification

IPT is ISO 9001:2008 certified since 7 January 2013 according to Bureau Veritas certification Holding SAS – UK Branch.

Quality is the degree to which a set of inherent characteristics fulfills requirements. Through the IPT Group’s QHSE Integrated Management System, we constantly monitor and improve the quality of services provided to customers, evaluate our QHSE performance through the definition of operational standards, training, assessments and audits.

    IPT ensures to safeguarding of workers’ health which is an important factor in order to provide productive working environment.     Safety at work of IPT employees is our highest priority. Despite the type of work and working environment, we make sure our employees operate in a safe environment and follow clear safety guidelines.
