IPT's "Hiring Lebanese" initiative is still receiving positive feedback throughout the country, and especially with the media.
We are facing exceptional times, and the the financial and economic outlooks are looking quite challenging. This has resulted in an unprecedented rise in the unemployment rate coupled with a quick deterioration of the Lebanese pound.
In this context, Vice Chairman of IPT, Dr. Toni Issa, will take part in a webinar on July 2nd at 6:30 pm organized by Griffin Leadership under the title of "Substituting Foreign Labor by Lebanese Labor".
Dr. Issa will share insights on IPT’s "Hiring Lebanese" initiative, the reasons and factors behind it and the plan set for its implementation. He will also discuss the challenges faced, the financial and social impact this initiative has on the community, and the support needed from the government.
* It is worth-noting that this unprecedented initiative has proven its viability especially through the high number of applications received from across Lebanon. The success of this initiative is also a result of the Lebanese people's change in mentality and embrace of this bold move seeking to provide job opportunities in a time of rising unemployment and labor gap caused from foreign workers going back to their countries.
