IPTEC Supporting "Mind the GAP" Conference
Under the auspices and in the presence of the President of the Republic, HE General Michel Aoun, the "Mind the Gap" Forum was held on Saturday, November 10th 2018, at The Emile Lahoud Conference Hall, Dbayeh.

The forum was organized by the Lebanese National Energy (LNE), a non-for profit organisation with the mission to boost the Lebanese economy by linking economic, business, and academic leaders in order to enhance growth and prosperity. The mission of the forum was to identify and highlight different capacities and skills through discussions of challenges with concrete solutions by exploring the roles of all the parties involved, distinguishing the respective roles of Governments, private sector and civil society for strengthening partnerships and impact assessment. IPT Energy Center (IPTEC) was among the main supporters, as part of the center's mission in fulfilling IPT's CSR in the field of social and local development.

Attended by HE the First Lady of Afghanistan, Roula Saade al-Ghani, HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon, Gebran Bassil, in addition to Ministers, members of parliament, director generals, business persons, academia leaders, researchers,and artists, the forum allowed the creation of a unique dialogue and networking opportunity between the public and private sectors aiming at suggesting action plans and concrete and achievable steps to empower the beneficiaries identified within the various themes tackled by key panelists on "Technology, economy and their opportunities", "Culture as a platform for preservation and progress", "Education in building a nation" and "Rise to crescendo of political representation". The suggested action plans will be part of a document that will be presented to the President and the Prime Minister post-event.
