The private sector in Lebanon is the engine of the economic growth and development, and is usually looked upon to bring the investments required for transformational change, and Lebanon is seeking this change through the way it produces and uses energy.
By implementing small actions and rules in its offices any company can be reducing its energy usage and greenhouse emissions, either through energy efficiency by using more natural light, choosing energy efficient light bulbs, choosing laptops instead of desktops, buying energy efficient devices, etc.
Or through renewable energy by using renewable energy sources as Solar Energy, Geothermal Energy, Geo-exchange Systems and Wind Energy to heat and cool the offices.
Or trough sustainable transport by promoting walking and cycling.
Or through the usage of alternative fuels as biofuels, solar energy and Hydrogen.
Little actions can save a lot!
