Lebanon has big potential in using natural gas as a clean alternative fuel in different sectors especially in transportation. Studies indicate the presence of large quantities of natural gas reserves offshore that can boost the Lebanese economy once exploited due to different export options to neighboring countries, in addition to the local market consumption.
