Once again, IPT proves its encouragement to art and creativity through supporting Charbel Rouhana's musical concert that was held on December 26 and 27 at Theatre Monot. IPT is proud to be a part of this initiative showing support to the culture of music in Lebanon.
The concert premiere consisted of a collection of music composed by Charbel, featuring poems from the XIIth century, with the collaboration of the Iranian-Canadian musician, Kia Tabassian.
In a perfect combination between the oud, the persian sitar, the fretless bass (Elie Chemaly) , the saxophone and the flute (Tom Hornig), the keyboard (Nidal Abu Samra) and the drums (Fouad Afra), the band succeeded in captivating the audience while transcending the limits of time and reality, reaching a world of beauty and serenity.
