IPT is supporting Caretaker Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, in securing fuel for agriculture in Bekaa and Akkar. This initiative aims at helping small farmers who were unable to obtain fuel for agriculture after their seasons were on the risk of being damaged due to the fuel crisis and their inability to obtain fuel in the black market.
In this context, the Union of Agricultural Syndicates began distributing the quantities of fuel received.
The fuel is distributed at the official price through approved fuel stations and according to a "vouchers" issued by the union. Work is underway to monitor additional quantities in the coming days.
