In a step to encourage Lebanese sports, IPT supported the International Basketball Tournament 2018 organized by Step Ahead Sports School (SSS). The tournament took place over three consecutive days from June 21 till 23 2018, with the participation of Qatar and Armenia. This event is considered as a preparation for the Lebanese basketball National team to qualify for the world cup.
We congratulate the Lebanese basketball team for winning the tournament after its big win against Qatar in the first round (87-52), despite its defeat against his Armenian counterpart in the 3rd round (85-90), showing as usual great skills and high team spirit. IPT was present to hand the trophies to the "Best Scorer of the Game" at the end of the games.
The Lebanese team will continue his intensive preparations to be so ready for the World Cup qualifiers games on June 28 against Jordan, and July 1st against Syria. Games will also be hosted at Nouhad Nawfal stadium.
