Delivering fuel to stations located in remote areas has become a real challenge. Our fuel tanks have been subjected to roadblocks and acts of piracy causing people in certain areas to suffer from lack of fuel.
Today, IPT was able to deliver fuel to its stations in Akkar inspite of the difficulties, while keeping pace with Internal Security Forces, to ensure the protection of the fuel tanks, and the safe arrival to their destination.
This step was welcomed by the people of Akkar, who were afflicted by the lack of fuel in their area for more than 3 months ago.
This is part of IPT's crisis management strategy, aiming at ensuring fair allocation of fuel around Lebanon since the beginning of the crisis.
