IPT at BIFEX 2015
As part of its effective role in the development of the Lebanese economy, IPT supported the Beirut International Franchise Forum and Exhibition BIFEX 2015, the Economic and Business Forum recognized as the premier franchise event in the Middle East.
BIFEX is organized by the Lebanese Franchise Association LFA and took place this year on May 13 and 14 in Phoenicia Hotel, Beirut. Among BIFEX main objectives is creating opportunities and generating wealth by expanding the franchise community and providing a platform to introduce local and international franchisors to potential investors including women and entrepreneurs.
In this context, BIFEX 2015 showcased the Lebanese franchise sector as the vehicle of economic modernity and the embodiment of the eminently exportable “Lebanese way of life”. Because franchising encourages technology and know-how transfer, as well as innovation and creativity, BIFEX 2015 pushed the envelop even farther by presenting and debating innovative topics which go beyond conventional boundaries and borders.
