IPT genuinely cares about Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). We see ourselves as a corporate citizen that needs to play a central role in supporting social development and not just economic development. To fuel this CSR drive further, IPT established an unprecedented specialized research center: IPT Energy Center (IPTEC).
IPTEC conducts research and scientific studies on energy, oil, and gas. The center not only does research, but actively strives to enhance knowledge on energy conservation and efficient energy use to reduce environmental pollution, promote the use of clean, alternative and renewable energy solutions, and more.
Since its establishment in 2011, IPTEC has been actively present and has engaged partners in different sectors to realize its vision while impacting the young and old towards real change.
One of IPTEC’s most viral and influential activations was: “Be an Eco-driver” launched in 2014, with the collaboration of local, International institutions. Most importantly, the activation included a series of awareness campaigns at schools to reach the “future drivers” of Lebanon.
