The Energy Awareness Awards (EAA) is one-of-a kind award program launched for the first time in Lebanon in a joint effort by IPT Energy Center (IPTEC) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to promote sustainable practices that can help reduce energy consumption and contribute to air pollution reduction and a better environmental performance.
The EAA recognizes outstanding achievements and efforts put forth by institutions and organizations, in both the public and private sectors including businesses, civil society and academic sector, within the scope of five categories: Energy Efficiency & Conservation, Renewable Energy, Transportation and Fleet Management, Sustainability, and Public Energy Action.
