In an unprecedented initiative outside Greater Beirut, Michel Issa Foundation For Local Development (MIF) and Berytech Foundation partnered up together to establish "Berytech Amchit", a Business & Innovation Center in Amchit serving the regions of Jbeil, Kesserwan and Ftouh, Batroun, and Koura with possibility to attract people from Tripoli, Zghorta, and Becharri and other northern regions.
In addition to supporting the development of start-ups by providing business support, hosting and community development services, "Berytech Amchit" aims to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the above-mentioned regions.
Strategically located on Amchit highway, "Berytech Amchit" is of an area of 5000 m2 comprising conference and meeting space, lounge and dining facilities, co-working space, multi-size expandable offices, etc...
Thus, it will be designed to offer young entrepreneurs and startups with a multitude of valuable services that are available at all Berytech (BIC) sites including:
- Fully furnished, modern eco-friendly and flexible hosting offices and services for startups and SMEs paralleled with a co-working space for freelancers and entrepreneurs
- Business development services for the growth of enterprises including coaching, advisory, training workshops, mentoring, access to finance, networks and more
- Meeting and conference spaces will additionally be open to benefit professionals in the area
"Berytech Amchit" will focus on startups and SMEs in the ICT, Smart Agri-Food, Renewable Energy, Eco-Tourism, and Social Entrepreneurship sectors, and is expected to open its door in 2020.
