The Memorandum of Understanding signed between Michel Issa Foundation for Local Development (MIF) and Berytech to establish a "Business & Innovation Center" helps MIF to meet its continuous economic development initiatives. The center will be built on a 5000 m2 area located at Amchit-Jbeil highway and will open its doors in 2020. Being the first project of its kind in the area; this project aims to attract local young talents, entrepreneurs, and professionals by reducing the burden of commuting and migration due to the below multitude of valuable services that will be available at the center.
- Worry-free fully furnished modern eco-friendly flexible hosting offices and services for startups and SMEs paralleled with a co-working space for freelancers and entrepreneurs.
- Business development services including coaching, training, networking events, mentoring and access to finance to support entrepreneurs.
- Meeting and conference spaces will additionally be open to benefit professionals in the area.
Michel Issa Foundation’s inventiveness in bringing Berytech to Amchit will be creating job opportunities in Kesserwan, Jbeil and North areas while focusing mainly on ICT, Smart AgriFood, Renewable energy, Ecotourism and Social Entrepreneurship sectors.
