IPT Energy Center (IPTEC) and the UNDP are proud to inform you that the assigned expert committee concerned with reviewing the "Energy Awareness Awards" applications met on August 18, 2016 at UNDP office in Beirut, in the presence of IPTEC and UNDP representatives, to assess the shortlisted candidates and choose the winners for each category based on the following criteria:
- Demonstrated intervention in Energy Management
- Impact
- Proven Results
- Originality, Innovation, and Added Value
- Sustainability and Replicability
- Collaborations Synergies
The committee consists of the non-technical experts H.E. Mr. Nazem el Khoury (Former Minister of Environment), H.E. Mrs. Raya el Hassan (Former Finance Minister), and Mrs. Marianne Howayek (Director of the Executive Office at Banque Du Liban), in addition to the technical experts Mr. Hassan Harajli (Project Manager at the Energy and Environment Program, CEDRO-UNDP), Professor Farid Chaaban (Chairperson & Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, AUB), and Mr. Karim Osseiran (Energy Consulting Expert at the Ministry of Energy & Water).
The results will be announced in an event organized under the patronage of H.E. the minister of Energy and Water Mr.Arthur Nazarian, on September 23rd, 2016 at Le Royal Hotel – Dbaye during the International Beirut Energy Forum 2016 (IBEF).
