IPT, Metro Express and McDonald’s embellish Amchit

Friday September 25 marked the opening of a new zone in Amchit, gathering an IPT station offering premium gas solutions, a Metro Express presenting a wide variety of convenience shopping, and the leading name in quick service restaurants, McDonald’s. A Byblos Bank ATM was also placed there to make shopping easier. Nathalie Haddad from Weber Sandwich Beirut welcomed the invitees on behalf of Mr. Michel Issa, Chairman of IPT Group, Mr. Oliver Geha, Vice President of Metro Superstore sarl, Mr. Antoine Matta, regional manager from Byblos Bank, and Mr. Rashwan Miknas, Managing Partner of McDonald’s Lebanon, who declared: “I would like to welcome our valuable guests here today, particularly the residents of Amchit, at this opening celebration of the first zone in Lebanon. This joint venture is the first of many more to come.” The guests explored the advantages of this new zone and discovered the laser car wash at the IPT gas station, a new technology for the first time in Lebanon, and had a cup of frozen or hot coffee from Mountain Mudd espresso kiosk; they also enjoyed shopping at Metro Express and had a tasty meal at McDonald’s. Then, the ribbon was cut at IPT, and the zone was declared officially open. All guests enjoyed a delicious cake at McDonald’s and were entertained by Ronald McDonald’s who did his signature fun show. Also, they did not leave empty handed and were offered a Phoenician statuette, Jbeil’s signature trophy, as a thank you gesture. Fun celebrations and entertainment continued at McDonald’s during the two consecutive days that followed the opening with games & fun for the kids, which always ended with a cake cutting and fireworks. This zone includes a McDonald's restaurant with McCafe, drive-thru, delivery service and a Metro Express with large convenience shop featuring a delicatessen section (charcuterie et fromagerie), a fresh meat butchery and all sorts of beverages and snacks, as well as an IPT gas station and a Byblos Bank ATM. This zone is designed to facilitate the lifestyle of Jbeil and its region’s residents as it allows them to shop, eat, withdraw money, have a coffee break, a touch free car wash, and fill gas while eating delicious food at McDonald’s.
