Job Scope
The Sustainability Officer is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the company’s sustainability and CSR initiatives. The role focuses on assisting in the preparation of sustainability reports, collecting and analyzing data, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and promoting employee and community engagement programs that align with the organization’s environmental and social goals.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Support Sustainability Strategy and Initiatives
- Assist in tracking progress of sustainability and CSR projects.
- Help collect and maintain sustainability-related data and KPIs.
- Support the implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives across departments.
Reporting and Documentation
- Assist in data gathering for the sustainability report in coordination with relevant departments.
- Ensure timely documentation and record-keeping for sustainability metrics and projects.
Environmental & Social Assessments
- Assist with environmental impact assessments and monitoring.
- Support the collection of data related to carbon footprint, waste, energy, and resource usage.
- Help track and report environmental incidents and participate in investigations under guidance.
Policy and Compliance Support
- Help enforce internal environmental and sustainability policies.
- Stay informed on relevant sustainability standards (e.g., ISO 14001) and assist in compliance monitoring.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate with internal teams and support engagement with external partners, NGOs, and government agencies.
- Attend relevant meetings, events, or workshops as required.
Employee Engagement and Training
- Support the implementation of employee engagement activities related to sustainability and CSR.
- Assist in preparing training materials and logistics for awareness programs.
Community and Social Programs
- Help identify local community outreach opportunities.
- Support the execution of CSR events and collaborations with local organizations.
UNGC Accelerator Program Participation
- Assist in organizing and documenting participation in UNGC activities.
- Help in knowledge sharing and collaboration efforts within the program.

Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability or a related field is required.
Relevant certifications in sustainability, environmental management, corporate social responsibility (CSR), or similar areas may be required or preferred.
