About the Michel Issa Foundation (MIF):
The Michel Issa Foundation for Local Development (MIF) is a non-governmental organization committed to advancing sustainable local development in Lebanon. Since 2012, MIF has implemented a wide range of socio-economic, educational, and environmental projects in collaboration with civil society, local authorities, and national partners.
Job Summary:
MIF is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the implementation and follow-up of the Foundation’s various development projects. The Project Coordinator will work closely with internal teams, partner organizations, and outsourced suppliers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with MIF’s mission and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Follow-Up:
Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of ongoing projects across MIF’s program sectors.
Ensure day-to-day coordination between internal departments and external stakeholders (suppliers, contractors, consultants, etc.).
Maintain updated project trackers, schedules, and documentation.
Supplier & Partner Communication:
Liaise with outsourced suppliers and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services and outputs.
Manage communication and coordination with vendors for logistics, technical work, procurement, or media-related needs.
Reporting & Documentation:
Draft, compile, and edit progress reports, project summaries, meeting minutes, and post-event documentation.
Support the team in preparing content for donor updates, press releases, and internal presentations.
Monitoring & Evaluation:
Support field visits, site checks, and data collection to assess the progress and quality of implementation.
Assist in capturing feedback and lessons learned to inform future project planning.
Administrative & Logistical Support:
Prepare and follow up on project-related purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
Organize meetings, workshops, and site visits as needed.
