Job scope:
The Health and Safety Officer is responsible for the department development and implementation of Health and Safety policies, procedures, programs and manuals. He/ She is also responsible for assisting with risk assessments, safety inspections, and report HS incidents and potentially unsafe conditions, while ensuring the resolution of these situations.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Master's degree in a relevant field (preferred but not required).
Experience:
1 year experience in Health & safety management within a corporate environment.
Experience in the oil and gas industry (preferred).
