Keep an eye on MTV today at 10:30 pm and watch the full episode of the second edition of the Energy Awareness Awards (EAA). The episode will feature all phases of the program from the selection process to the distribution of the awards which took place on September 27th 2019 under the patronage and in the presence of H.E. the Minister of Energy and Water Mrs. Nada Boustani Khoury. It will also include short reports about each winning project.
Worth-noting that the second Edition of the EAA was launched by IPTEC and UNDP in 2019, with the support of the Ministry of Energy and Water. Many applications were submitted in four different categories: Private sector, Academia, Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Local Government initiatives (Municipalities) in addition to identifying one Public Sector Initiative, falling under the themes of Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Conservation, Mitigation of Climate Change and Innovation Energy.
