Lebanon Waste Management (LWM) partnered with IPT to launch the “Recycling School Bus” from the National Library under the patronage of the Ministries of Environment, Culture and Industry.
This 1975’s bus that Mr. Pierre Baaklini transformed into a movable place for receiving and sorting recyclable waste, that will be roaming around schools all around Lebanon spreading awareness and collecting recyclables.
This initiative will help spread awareness and teach kids how to recycle. By instilling good recycling habits in children, we can help reduce waste, conserve resources, and protect our environment for generations to come.
This innovative idea falls under IPT’s theme for 2023 which is #IPT_sorts.
