As part of our commitment to sustainability and reducing our environmental impact, and after the collaboration of IPT Energy Center (IPTEC) and Caroline Chaptini regarding building a giant turtle in Amchit coast from bottle caps, filling it with large quantities of sorted plastic waste throughout May month, Caroline ensured to pass through several schools, as well as IPT Headquarters’ employees, to promote her campaign and to encourage them to start sorting and to collect plastic bottles and plastic caps to help her with this big project of building a sea turtle and her daughter.
Caroline chose the sea turtle because it is on the verge of becoming extinct in Lebanese waters. This project will be implemented in Amchit in May with the assistance of many schools and organizations.
