In the Media: IPT Signing an MoU on Transforming Most of IPT Stations into Green and Sustainable

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Energy And Water Mr. Arthur Nazarian, IPT signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Fransabank and Phoenix Energy on the transformation of most IPT Stations into green and sustainable stations in a press conference held on September 11, 2015 as part of the 2015 Beirut Energy Forum.

The press conference was convened in the presence of H.E. Minister Arthur Nazarian, President of IPTEC Dr. Toni Issa, GM of Fransabank Mr. Nadim Kassar, and President and CEO of Indevco Group Mr. Neemat Frem, in addition to media representatives. During the event, IPT announced its commitment to implement the Energy and Environment Management Strategy (EEMS) which aims at enhancing the energy performance and reducing the environmental impact of its service stations through: the full commitment of IPT Team to efficiency and sustainability, energy and water efficient solutions, renewable energy solutions, waste reduction, waste water treatment and water recycling solutions, and environmental impact management system and process. 

At the end, Mr. Rabih Al Osta, the General Manager of Phoenix Energy, presented the steps of renewable energy applications that IPT will first start implementing on most of its gas stations.
