IPT was delighted to welcome a group of 15 students from the University of Balamand (UOB) for an educational visit to its terminals on Friday, December 20th. The students, accompanied by the UOB Outreach Officer, participated in a two-hour tour that provided them with an in-depth understanding of IPT's operations, safety protocols, and sustainability practices.
The visit included interactive discussions, hands-on insights into terminal processes, and a detailed overview of IPT’s role in Lebanon’s energy sector. This collaboration reflects IPT's ongoing commitment to supporting academic institutions and preparing the next generation of professionals for the workforce.
This initiative reinforces IPT's supports SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by fostering future career readiness, SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) through exposure to operational innovation, and SDG 13 (Climate Action) with an emphasis on sustainability practices.
