On 20.9.2023, AUT University officially launched the TECHLOG Initiative (Technological Transfer for Logistics Innovation in Mediterranean area); a pivotal project funded by the European Union in collaboration with Beirut & Mount Lebanon Chamber of Commerce, in the presence of esteemed Member of Parliament Mr. Ziad Hawat, in addition to other academic representatives, private transportation sectors and municipalities.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between AUT University "the Academic Institution" and IPT along with other transport/Logistics companies as well as municipalities, solidifying AUT University's commitment to play an advanced role in the safe driving training for large vehicle, through simulation technology.
TECHLOG aims to bridge research and industry in the transport sector, fostering innovation through advanced simulations. This will drive knowledge-based development and boost the EU-Med transport economy.
