In a pioneering effort to foster sustainable development and drive innovation, IPT organized an event on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at its headquarters in Amchit. The event brought together diverse teams from across the company to present innovative projects inspired by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This initiative underscores IPT’s unwavering commitment to social and environmental responsibility, as reflected in its adoption of 11 key SDGs.
The competition featured 10 dynamic teams, each representing a different department within IPT. Their projects creatively aligned with the SDGs, showcasing how sustainability can be integrated into everyday business practices and operations.

The event opened with a warm welcome from Mrs. Alexa El Hedd, Head of Sustainability at IPT, who thanked attendees for their enthusiasm and commitment. She outlined the event's objectives, emphasizing IPT’s dedication to creating a positive impact through collaborative and sustainable solutions. Dr. Toni Issa, in his address, praised the participants’ efforts and the judges’ invaluable contributions. He highlighted the importance of embedding a culture of sustainability within the company, extending its influence to employees, their families, and the community at large. Sustainability Consultant Mrs. Hasmig Khoury also shared her insights, emphasizing the transformative role of Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) practices in achieving long-term sustainable growth.
This event is yet another milestone in IPT’s journey to champion sustainability and inspire innovation, setting the stage for impactful change across its operations and beyond.
