IPT launches a new project with the municipality of Jbeil led by its president Wissam Zaarour, and with the Lebanese Waste Management (LWM), represented by its manager, Pierre Baaklini.
The main goal is to revitalize the sorting center affiliated with the Municipality and enable it to serve as the central hub for both Jbeil and other municipalities in the district, in a way to receive recyclable materials sorted at the source, process them, and manage them as per environmental standards.
IPT's involvement in this initiative marks the initial phase, paving the way for the adoption of IPT stations positioned along the region's coastline as drop-off centers for recyclable waste, facilitating their transportation to the main center.
