As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability, innovation, and responsible growth, IPT concluded the SDG Innovation Projects through a two-day workshop held at IPT Headquarters in Amchit, in collaboration with the United Nations Global Compact Network Lebanon (UNGCNL). The event marked the culmination of months of internal collaboration launched by IPT’s CSR and Sustainability Committee, engaging employees from various departments to design projects that directly advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Guided by UNGC facilitators, teams participated in interactive sessions focused on the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, sustainable innovation, and collaborative problem-solving. Each group presented solutions demonstrating how IPT can further integrate environmental and social sustainability across its operations.

The evaluation covered alignment with the assigned SDG, creativity, collaboration, and a surprise “impact” criterion revealed during the workshop, ensuring that innovation remained grounded in measurable change. Winning teams were recognized for their creative contributions and their role in driving IPT’s sustainability journey forward. This initiative reflects IPT’s clear direction: embedding sustainability into its culture, decisions, and growth strategy in line with the Agenda 2030. Through ongoing collaboration with the UNGC Lebanon Network, IPT continues to turn purpose into practice, shaping a future where energy innovation and sustainability go hand in hand.
