IPT brought together stakeholders at USEK to co-create the Sustainability Strategy 2026
IPT brought together partners, experts, and community voices at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) for a high-impact and collaborative Stakeholder Engagement session dedicated to shaping IPT 2026 Sustainability Strategy.
The day opened with a Sustainability Journey Debrief presented by Alexa Maria El Hed - Head of Sustainability at IPT, who walked participants through the Group’s progress and the evolving expectations around energy, ESG, and responsible growth in Lebanon. Setting the tone for the day, Dr. Toni M. Issa - Executive Chairman of Issa Group delivered a forward-looking message “Sustainability becomes meaningful when it is shared. When diverse voices challenge us, guide us, and push us forward, we move from statements to impact. This is the strategy we are building together.”
To set the foundation for the exercise, Mrs. Hasmig Khoury – IPT Sustainability Consultant – outlined the strategic purpose of the engagement and highlighted the importance of providing objective, evidence-based input. She offered clear guidance on expectations and on how participants should assess and prioritize materiality topics within each pillar before moving into the breakout discussions.
The session continued with a keynote by Dr. Dima Jamali - Dean of the Adnan Kassar School of Business at LAU, who addressed the evolution of sustainability leadership “The future will reward companies that align growth with societal benefit. Sustainability is no longer support material. It is core strategy, national responsibility, and competitive advantage.”
Participants then moved into facilitated breakout discussions across IPT’s four sustainability pillars
• Quality, Health and Safety
• Energy and Environmental Management
• Enriching the Local Community
• Human Capital Excellence
Each group explored material issues, surfaced expectations, and proposed recommendations that will directly shape IPT's 2026 Sustainability Strategy. The result was a roadmap rooted in shared insight, practical direction, and impact-driven priorities.
IPT extends its appreciation to all participants for their openness, expertise, and contribution to building a sustainability strategy built on collaboration, transparency, and long-term value creation.
