IPT Renews Its Carbon Footprint Certification For 2024
Choosing to measure your carbon footprint once shows intent.
Choosing to renew it shows discipline.
For the second consecutive year, IPT completed its carbon footprint assessment for the 2024 reporting cycle and received official certification through the Ministry of Environment, under the national carbon footprint program developed in partnership with the United Nations Development Program.
This certification confirms that IPT’s greenhouse gas emissions were measured and verified within a recognized national framework aligned with international methodologies.
In a market where carbon reporting remains non-mandatory, IPT voluntarily submits its emissions data to a structured program that prioritizes consistency, transparency, and year-on-year comparability. The first certification established a baseline. The second confirms continuity.
Carbon footprint measurement is not a static exercise. It is a management tool. Repeating the process within the same Ministry-led and UN-supported framework allows IPT to track progress, identify reduction levers, and integrate climate data into operational and strategic decisions.
In 2023, IPT became the first company in the energy sector to obtain carbon footprint certification under this program.
In 2024, additional companies followed, signaling a broader shift toward structured sustainability reporting.
At IPT, sustainability is not claimed.
It is measured.
