IPT Energy Center (IPTEC) signs a cooperation agreement with the Nature Conservation Center at the American University of Beirut (AUB-NCC), headed by Dr. Alain Daou, to support a competition for students from AUB and six other Lebanese universities to present innovative solutions for waste recycling and sorting projects and facilities in the country.
Results will be announced on April 28, at the International Day for Biological Diversity IBDAA, in a ceremony held at AUB's campus.
This latest agreement falls under IPT's CSR theme for the year, "IPT Sorts", which will focus on projects in waste sorting and methods of treatment of waste, most notably plastics.
