Building safer operations through people and practice
At IPT, safety lives in how teams think, act, and operate every day. Aligned with the Grow with IPT Learning and Training Academy, IPT’s QHSE team led and delivered a dedicated QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment) training session for its station operations teams managing IPT-operated locations across the network.
Designed as a hands-on learning experience, the session focused on reinforcing practical safety application across daily site activities. Through real-life scenarios and open discussions, participants explored how to recognize risks early, apply procedures with clarity, and respond with confidence on site. Teams also took part in live drills and hands-on simulations, including emergency response exercises, translating knowledge into action and strengthening on-ground readiness.
The session placed strong emphasis on how teams communicate, coordinate, and act together to maintain safe and efficient operations. By working through real operating conditions, participants strengthened the reflexes that support both safety and performance in the field. By engaging teams responsible for IPT-operated stations, the training reinforces a unified approach across sites directly managed by IPT, ensuring a consistent level of execution across its network. Through Grow with IPT, the company continues to develop capabilities and embed safety as a core operational discipline.
