Hundreds of bottle caps. One shared Earth. And a simple idea: what we choose to reuse today can help shape the world we live in tomorrow.
IPT brought environmental education to life through an interactive awareness experience for children aged 3 to 14, designed to make recycling, waste segregation, responsible resource use and circular thinking tangible, creative and memorable.
The children explored how everyday choices can contribute to environmental progress and discovered the value resources can retain beyond their first use.
The learning then moved from conversation to creation.
In collaboration with environmental artist Caroline Chaptini, collected bottle caps became the material for a collective artwork representing the Earth. Working together, the children transformed the caps into their own vision of a greener future, experiencing first hand how materials can be reused creatively and given a new purpose.
More than an art activity, the experience turned an environmental principle into something children could understand through action.
By combining education, creativity and participation, IPT aims to encourage responsible habits from an early age and help young people recognize the role their individual choices can play in creating broader environmental impact.
For IPT, this initiative forms part of a wider commitment to bringing sustainability closer to people and communities through practical experiences that inspire participation and lasting change.
Because building a more sustainable future also means inspiring the generation that will inherit it.
