As part of its ongoing commitment to community engagement and social responsibility, IPT organized a volunteering visit to Anta Akhi, a home for people with disabilities located in Ballouneh, bringing together IPT volunteers and residents for a meaningful day of interaction, connection, and shared experiences.
The visit began with a warm welcome from Anta Akhi’s coordinator, who introduced the volunteers to the organization's mission and the important role it plays in supporting individuals with disabilities. This was followed by a heartfelt testimonial from Ghassan, one of the residents, who shared his personal experience with the group.
The IPT volunteers then had the opportunity to meet 16 other residents through a fun and interactive introductory game. This activity allowed everyone to get to know one another, with the volunteers sharing more about themselves and IPT, while the residents introduced themselves and shared their own stories.
The day continued with a series of games organized by the residents, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere filled with laughter, teamwork, and genuine connections. These shared moments made the visit a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Through initiatives like this, IPT reaffirms its commitment to fostering inclusion, encouraging employee volunteering, and strengthening its connection with the community. Beyond the activities, the visit served as a reminder of the importance of human connection, mutual understanding, and the positive impact of spending time together.
