AUB MBA Students Explore IPT’s Operations and Fuel Supply Chain
Energy operations are best understood in motion.
At IPT, we believe real operations can become powerful learning grounds. As part of their Operations Management course at the American University of Beirut, MBA students selected IPT as a case study to examine how energy companies manage fuel supply chain dynamics, demand planning, inventory decisions, logistics, distribution, sourcing, and operational risk in a complex market.
During their visit to IPT, the students engaged with the teams involved in the project to better understand how our operational model supports fuel availability, supply reliability, and business continuity. Their visit also included a tour of IPT’s terminal, giving them a closer look at the infrastructure and coordination behind storage, transportation, and distribution.
For IPT, this collaboration reflects a clear direction: building stronger bridges between academia and industry by turning real business challenges into applied learning experiences.
As IPT continues to evolve as an energy group, we see value in opening our knowledge, our people, and our operations to future leaders who want to understand how strategy, resilience, and execution come together in the energy sector.
To faculty members and universities exploring applied case studies, experiential learning, or industry collaboration, IPT welcomes the conversation.
