On Monday, January 27, 2025, IPT hosted its Annual External Stakeholder Discussion at Al Habtoor City, where industry leaders, and sustainability experts came together to align on the company’s key sustainability strategies and shape Lebanon’s energy transition roadmap. Unlike previous editions, this year’s panel placed an even stronger emphasis on stakeholder participation, ensuring that industry insights are directly integrated into IPT’s evolving corporate sustainability framework.
Since 2018, IPT has been committed to an inclusive, collaborative approach to sustainability, bringing stakeholders into the conversation to ensure that its initiatives remain both forward-thinking and impactful. Executive Chairman Dr. Toni Issa reinforced IPT’s mission, stating, “At IPT, sustainability is a shared mission. Our stakeholders play a fundamental role in shaping impactful strategies that create lasting value for the community and the environment.” Sustainability consultant Mrs. Hasmig Khoury also emphasized the importance of engagement, adding, “Their input ensures our strategies remain impactful and aligned with industry expectations.”
This year’s discussions were designed to be action-oriented, with focused roundtable sessions aligned with IPT’s Sustainability Pillars: Governance, Quality, Health, and Safety; Energy and Environmental Management; Enriching the Local Community; and Human Capital Excellence. These working sessions enabled stakeholders to contribute insights that will directly inform IPT’s sustainability decisions in 2025.
The event captured insights, and collective efforts that will help in defining the company’s sustainability vision.
