IPT welcomed representatives from Matelec to its headquarters in Amchit for “Sustainability Talk from Different Perspectives,” an engaging discussion that brought together both companies to exchange experiences, approaches, and insights into their respective sustainability journeys.
The discussion featured Rabih Dib, Head of Quality, Health, Safety & Environment at Matelec, and Alexa Maria El Hed, Head of Sustainability at IPT. Moderated by Mrs. Hasmig Khouri, the session explored sustainability initiatives, shared challenges, and the importance of exchanging knowledge and experiences to advance sustainable practices.
Following the discussion, IPT held the closing ceremony of its annual Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Competition, an internal initiative encouraging employees to translate sustainability objectives into practical projects.
During the ceremony, members of IPT’s Sustainability Committee presented projects developed and implemented in collaboration with their respective departments, highlighting teamwork, creativity, and employee engagement in addressing sustainability priorities.
The presentations were followed by jury evaluations, recognizing the efforts and contributions of the participating teams.
Through initiatives such as the Sustainability Talk and annual SDG Competition, IPT continues to promote knowledge sharing, cross-departmental collaboration, and a culture of sustainability across its operations.
