IPT “Green Strategy”

IPT has launched a new recycling program strategy in its premises as part of its “ Green Strategy”. The program includes recycling offices wastes, where recycle bins are installed in all offices with instructions to separate both paper and plastic materials encouraging all IPT employees and visitors to participate in this program. Supporting this program, IPT enclosed commitment with organizations in recycling paper and plastic. Nevertheless, IPT intends to extend this activity to most of its gas stations aiming to support the transformation of IPT facilities into green and eco-friendly places.

The “Green Strategy” also covers IPT previous announcement of implementing the Energy and Environmental Management Strategy (EEMS) in collaboration with Fransabank and Phoenix Energy. This program enhances energy performance and reduces the environmental impact of IPT service stations and headquarter through the implementation of energy and water efficient solutions and renewable energy solutions.

Realizing its social corporate responsibility goals in the field of energy conservation and efficient energy use, IPT through its Energy Center IPTEC launched the Energy Awareness Awards (EAA) in collaboration with the UNDP to put into the light the successes of institutions and organizations in both the public and private sector for significant contribution to energy sustainability across Lebanon.

IPT is proud to be a role model in adopting and implementing its “Green Strategy” in its day-to-day operations to advance sustainability in energy use, water consumption, air quality, and waste management.
