MIF Improves Road Safety by Addressing Potholes on Berbara-Halat Highway Through Ensa Joura

In collaboration with MTV and DSD, Michel Issa Foundation for Local Development (MIF) renewed the ‘Ensa Joura’ initiative by filling potholes along a highly complained-about highway in Lebanon, from Berbara to Halat.

This effort demonstrates MIF’s commitment to improving commuter well-being and stimulating economic growth. Local authority figures from Berbara, Monsef, Amchit, Blat, and Halat witnessed the road repair during a meeting at MIF headquarters. MIF's president, Dr. Toni Issa, highlighted on the urgent need for comprehensive solutions while affirming the critical role of the “Ensa Joura” initiative as an interim measure to safeguard the nation’s roads.

The meeting included a technical presentation by DSD on their velocity machine, which was met with appreciation from local authorities for MIF’s impactful collaboration and the effectiveness of public-private partnerships in driving local development.
