Looking to raise awareness among Lebanon's future generation about oil and gas exploration in Lebanon, as well as to inspire them to imagine their future lives in Lebanon after the oil and gas exploration, IPT Energy Center (IPTEC) launched a whole new theme as part of this year's schools drawing contest organized by Fabriano, under the title of “Imagine the Lebanon of Tomorrow, After The Discovery And Extraction of Gas And Oil!”
The IPTEC-Fabriano collaboration is part of IPTEC's Corporate Social Responsibility and continues a collaboration that started in 2014. This contest proves the students' attraction and self confidence in making a difference in the world and allows them to express their concerns through art.
More about this year’s theme proposed by IPTEC:
“According to reports on the news, Lebanon has the largest underground marine gas reserve in the world, with a value of more than $1 trillion! Imagine a Lebanon that is more beautiful and authentic than nature, with metros, trains, electricity & water that never runs out, and modern buildings, not to mention our mountains and their underground sources of drinking water that come from the melting snow, our beaches, and our 300 days of sunshine a year... all of this sprinkled with gas and oil: a True Paradis!”
