After the partnership of IPT and WRO that took place on July 26th at IPT Headquarters, and after the Winning of the 3 Lebanese students and their coach in the 7th place in Germany, IPT organized an Honoring Ceremony for the delegation participating on December 16th at IPT Headquarters - Amchit.
Lebanon ranked seventh in the world and first in the Arab world through the team of St. Joseph School Cornet Chehwan participating in the “RoboMission” Senior category.
The opening ceremony occurred in the presence of Mrs. Jenny Chemali the official representative of the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) in Lebanon, Mr. Wissam Zaarour President of Jbeil municipality, Dr. Tony Issa vice president of IPT and IPT’s management.
Mrs. Jenny Chemaly opened the ceremony by speaking about students’ successes.
Mr. Michel Germany, the coach, explained about the process and the details of this competition that occurred in Germany.
At the end, Dr. Toni Issa congratulated in his speech the three winners and emphasized about the importance of this competition in the educational system in Lebanon.
Medals and vouchers were distributed to all participants and the coach as an appreciation for their success on behalf of the IPT.
