Brief Responsibilities:
Job Scope:
The main responsibilities of the IT Officer are providing prompt support and assistance to all IPT end users in addition to maintaining the company’s IT systems and equipment up and running. S/He shall be in charge of installing and configuring all hardware and software and solving technical issues while coordinating with both internal and external parties.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Provide prompt and appropriate technical support at all times
Handle troubleshooting and control daily hardware and software to ensure users’ satisfaction
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues based on needs
Install, configure, diagnose, repair and upgrade all corporate hardware and equipment and recommend corrective actions, when needed
Organize and follow up on all maintenance requests (cameras, bridges, etc.) and ensure proper implementation of yearly preventive maintenance
Handle creating, editing and stopping all users’ accounts within the Group based on adequate approvals
Handle the IT daily backup process and ensure safeguarding where appropriate
Ensure proper implementation of all IT related procedures by users and self
Coordinate technical support and implement new initiatives and systems in sister companies and company sites
Follow up on hardware and software issues related to hand punch solving technical problems when necessary and raising updates when needed to concerned
Handle the hardware and software support of the telephony system, equipment and machines at the Headquarter
Coordinate and interact daily with external IT suppliers and providers to follow up on repairs and other jobs such as Bellcom, RCL and Tetracom to name a few
Support the implementation of new solutions or applications
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
