Where does Lebanon stand in the regional oil market? Why the “Black Gold” has not been revealed yet? These questions were answered and analyzed by Dr. Toni Issa, the President of the Committee of Energy and Water at the Beirut Bar Association and President of IPT Energy Center (IPTEC), on Tuesday 25th of July during the TV show “بين الأمس و اليوم” on Télé-Lumière and Noursat Tv .
Under the title “Black Gold”, Dr. Toni Issa and Lawyer Malek Takieddine, the President of Aberdeen Oil and Gas Center, were interviewed in order to share their extensive knowledge and insights on the regional Oil & Gas industry. The interview addressed the questions of the oil and gas reserve in Lebanon, and the interests that great powers and international companies have in Lebanon’s oil and gas potential. Political, geographical and economical aspects of the subject were analyzed, and the future of Lebanon’s “Black Gold” wealth was discussed.
