Building the Future on The Milestones of Our Past

IPT archives department is responsible for managing, organizing, and preserving the company's records that have long-term historical value. The archives' collection spans the history of IPT since its inception to the present and includes a wide range of visual and textual materials, including documents, photographs, motion picture films and videos, and much more. To this end, it is highly important for IPT to ensure the sustainability of its information capital which resides in its physical archives.

Knowing this significant role, IPT management implemented a well-integrated development plan to its archives department to help improving records documentation. Evidences lie in the use of the most advanced and recent equipment mainly mobile shelves to optimize space management. Records are maintained under proper environmental conditions that control humidity and temperature levels to increase papers' lifetime. Furthermore, the new effective storage plan includes a storage software that helps transforming hard-copy documents into soft-copy files properly saved and archived. Safety & Security plans are also implemented to prevent hazardous accidents.

Most importantly, all shredded records and used papers are collected and recycled. This is part of IPT's green approach to fight environmental pollution.

IPT's scope of development is not only limited to the archives department, but covers all departments to guarantee a continuous progress of the company's internal management system.
