In this unique initiative that supports social and economic local development in Jbeil district, MIF team and partners went for field visits to the applicants' hometowns and businesses where they got to know more about the applicants' daily lives and concerns.
In their testimonials, the beneficiaries explained how Michel Issa Foundation (MIF) and the Micro-Loans program contributed in creating opportunities for self-employment and income generation for them, thus helping them stay in their hometowns and rural areas.
Following the field visits, Michel Issa Foundation (MIF) in collaboration with the Mayor Assembly of Byblos and Vitas, organized on May 11 the Micro-loans distribution ceremony which featured the distribution of more than 50 grants and loans with 0% to the beneficiaries in the presence of the organizers and key regional figures.
