IPT Energy Center and Fabriano Visit to the Minister of Culture

Following the success of "Be The Eco-Drivers of Tomorrow" drawing exhibition organized by IPTEC and Fabriano at the UNESCO in May 2016, a visit to H.E. the Minister of Culture Mr. Raymond Araiji was held on 4 July 2016, as a recognition of his support to this event.

The visit was attended by IPTEC team, headed by Dr. Toni Issa, and Fabriano team, headed by Mr. Jean Claude Nahas, and it aimed to thank the minister and to brief him about the importance of the IPTEC-Fabriano collaboration and their initiative on introducing for the first time in Lebanon the eco-driving culture to the future Lebanese drivers through creative and colorful drawings.

Going over some of the best drawings, H.E the Minister expressed his thoughts in regards to the creativity and imagination of the children who represented the crucial role of eco-driving practices in saving their planet.

It is noteworthy that the 2015-2016 exhibition included more than 170 winning drawings in the Fabriano Drawing Contest 2015 exploring the theme “Be the Eco-Drivers of Tomorrow”, and it covered more than 500 schools and reached out to more than 100,000 students around Lebanon.

As a continuity of the collaboration between IPTEC and Fabriano, IPTEC is supporting Fabriano's 2016 drawing contest under the theme "Walk & Bike More" as part of the eco-driving campaign, to promote the benefits of walking and biking on the environment and our health.
