• To monitor, maintain and administer databases
• To establish the needs of users and monitoring user access and security
• To monitor performance and manage parameters in order to provide fast responses to front-end users
• To develop, manage, test back-up and recovery plans, and ensure that storage is functioning correctly
• To work closely with IT project managers, database programmers and multimedia programmers
• To communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security
• To commission and install new applications and customize existing applications in order to make them fit for purpose
• To be responsible for designing, improving and refining databases (SQL…)
• To solve database usage issues and malfunctions
• To develop technical and training manuals
• BS in Computer Sciences
• 5 years of experience in database
• Fluent in Arabic and English
• Good communication skills
• Team worker
